Mr. Shiksa and I have decided to leave our outdated townhouse just south of Boston and move south o' the border to RI at the end of April! We really struggled with deciding what to do when our current lease was up at the end of June this summer. Not many places in the area we are now rent for equal to or less than what we pay per month now, including pet rent fees, for the space we have (2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, 2 floors, washer/dryer in unit). We knew we had to look further outside the city suburbs, and we were okay with that. We also had to keep in mind that our commute (together) to work in RI is about 40 minutes, and we were ready to cut that down a bit.

We have a 2nd floor (top floor) corner unit loft apartment with 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, washer/dryer, updated appliances, breakfast bar, exposed brick walls. Ahhh...its beautiful!
I just wanted to share this big piece of news with you all! Now this means trips to Ikea and Home Goods with my sis - can't wait! I definitely need her interior design advice...I can't seem to focus to design the big picture.
Any suggestions for our new space? I'd love some input!
