"Yeah, I'm goin' to Jackson..."

Look out Jackson town.

Johnny Cash spoke the truth. Mr. Shiksa and I are headed to Tennessee tomorrow morning, and I couldn't be more excited!

Our first stop is...you guessed it - Jackson, TN. My brother-in-law Andrew is getting married!!! I get a sister-in-law :) We are so excited for the two of them, and can't wait to celebrate their special day. I have a feeling it will have lots of personal touches, and I just love that aspect of weddings. Based on some Facebook posts a la Meg, there are a few surprises up their sleeves!

The rest of the weekend entails time with family and relaxation, until Monday when we head to Memphis. And one can't go to Memphis without going to Graceland! Mr. Shiksa has been before (Andrew went to Rhodes) so it isn't his first rodeo, but I pretty much demanded we see it. I do not have a closet obsession with Elvis, I just think it is fascinating! We will be in Memphis for one night, and almost 2 days - lots of BBQ to eat, drinks to consume, and music to hear on Beale Street. 

Tuesday afternoon we head out on our drive to Nashville, and we'll be there until the following Monday. EEEEK! I am not ashamed to say I love country music. The Mr. even does now too! We have A LOT of plans for Nashville - we are seeing a show at the Grand Ole Opry, attending the CMT Music Awards, seeing 4 nights of shows at the CMA Music Festival...and a lot in between that I can't wait to share with all y'all!

I should get used to hearing that, right?
